Omelets, whether firm country-style or tender French, must be cooked quickly and folded in the pan. A classic omelet pan, therefore, is thick-bottomed for rapid, even heating and shallow with steeply sloped sides so omelets can be rolled easily against them. This pan qualifies on all counts, and it's ideal for sautéing and searing, also. Use only plastic, nylon, and wooden utensils on its nonstick cooking surface. The pan is anodized for hardness. Summary: Great pan, if you can find it for a good price
I got this for twenty bucks here on Amazon. For two tenners, how can you go wrong? It's a great pan for beat-around/quick cooking. I'm sure the nonstick coating will eventually get goobered up, but it's going strong for over a year, now. |

Summary: Great product
I only by Calphalon when it is on sale. But even full price this is a fantastic pan. Just remember to hand wash it and I have high hoped it will last a long time. |

This pan has met or exceeded its non-stick claims. I've cooked omelets with cheese in them & never had a problem. |
